About this position

The VP, Operational Risk Management position at UOB involves overseeing operational risk management functions within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks
• Provide guidance and advice on operational risk management matters to senior management and business units
• Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of improvement to mitigate operational risks
• Monitor and report on key risk indicators and incidents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance risk awareness and promote a strong risk culture within the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in operational risk management within the banking or financial services industry
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to operational risk management
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
