SVP, Head of Technology & Operations Governance and Assurance
About this position
The SVP, Head of Technology & Operations Governance and Assurance is responsible for leading the development and implementation of policies and strategies related to technology and operations, ensuring effective risk management and business continuity within the bank.
Responsibilities
• Lead/support development and implementation of Technology & Operations Policies, guidelines and related procedures.
• Monitor T&O Risk Indicators, Incidents, Complaints (balance score card, T&O Risk Indicator, KORI)
• Assurance Review: Independent review, investigate any risk & control issues and effective identify of key risks
• Drive the development and implementation of the effective and successful Business Continuity Management Strategy and Program within the bank to ensure the continuity of the Bank’s business and operations as well as comply with related regulations
• Review key risks and issues observed from internal & external audits, inspections, compliance testing and control reviews
• Risk analysis & insights: Monthly consolidation of risk & control information, analysis and report to T&O Management
• Central liaison party for Technology and Operations to manage engagement with regulators, Internal & External Audit, Group
• Monitor the progress of Business Continuity Management activities / incidents and report status to Executive Management. Drive continuous improvement
• Assist Recovery Director and BCM Task Force in the Crisis Management during disaster
• People & Leadership: Develop strong organisation & people capabilities in TOGA & BCM team to engage across T&O in order to drive improvements in risk culture
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's in IT or Business Admin and/or related academic major
• Professional certification related to Risk Management and BCM
• A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in technology and operations in Banking & Financial industry
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in banking Risk Management, Governance and Assurance
• Strong understanding and experience in Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management
• Leadership and Management skill
• Good communication in English (Written, oral communication and presentation)
• Interpersonal skill and ability to coordinate individuals and groups
• Project Management, Analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
