About this position

The SVP, Head of Bancassurance is responsible for developing strategic plans to achieve sales and revenue targets, supervising the banca team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing relationships with business partners to drive growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic Banca plans to achieve sales & revenue targets across SnD, Branch channels & key BU partners.
• Supervise, motivate and align banca team which comprises of product & sales practitioners.
• Ensure Banca strategy complies with rules and regulations.
• Develop concise Segment delineated Banca proposition across PB, WB & PV (HNW).
• Implement robust training framework and delivery to improve bankers overall competency and skillset in insurance advisory conversations.
• Update marketing and sales activity as well as get feedback from bank partners.
• Identify new initiatives and solutions to continually improve Banca proposition.
• Assist External Wholesalers in preparing the training materials and sales activities.
• Manage Bancassurance operation team in order to serve all Bancassurance transactions including claim process, follow up case and pending customers’ issues.
• Responsible for utilization of sales incentives and marketing allowances from insurers to drive both sellers’ productivity and customer engagement.
• Develop product and campaign plans for both new and existing customers.
• Negotiate and manage business partner relationships in driving business growth.
• Handle customer's requests and complaints to meet their satisfaction.
• Handle the operations process to get the highest efficiency.
• Keep abreast of insurance market developments and portfolio in seeking growth opportunities.
• Comply with the regulations for BOT, OIC, SEC and monitor all the processes to along with the regulations.
• Manage and coach Insurance Specialist team to support relationship managers and provide advisory service to wealth segment customers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance or related areas.
• 15 years + and above working experience in a bank or financial institution.
• Expert in Bancassurance product and sales.
• Strong people management, communication & interpersonal skills.
• Data Analytics skillset and related knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English, strong communication and writing skills.
