About this position

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking an AVP- VP, Credit Risk Management to develop and enhance credit policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while providing consultative support and training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and enhance all related Credit & Basel related Policies, Guidelines and framework (covering Wholesale, Retail Banking to align with regulatory guidelines).
• Review and provide consultative comments relating to the credit parameters, criteria for lending & treasury product program.
• Understanding on the whole E2E process i.e. pre and post approval process.
• Knowledge on ESG related especially on Environmental & Climate risk and stress test.
• Knowledge on FX/Derivatives products and CCRS system (Counterparty Credit Risk System) as well as ability to work cooperatively with Global Market function.
• Provide consultative comments and support to Credit Portfolio Mgt on policy for ongoing portfolio performance monitoring & analysis.
• Training and refreshment on credit related policies & guidelines to all relevant parties to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree / Master Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
• More than 5 years work experiences in Banking or Financing Institutions (especially in credit approval function will be a plus).
• Knowledge on wholesale & retail banking products including experiences in credit underwriting process.
• Good communication & Proficiency in English (both writing and speaking).
• Possessed good logical thinking and initiative as well as having good relationship with others.
