About this position

The Procurement Engineer (Services Category) is responsible for coordinating with user departments and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, and managing procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and liaise with the User Department and Subcontractors.
• To be clarified with subcontractors in basic technical requirement which relating with offering price and meet required by user Department.
• Issuing the SCA with proper comparison in scope of work, price and term condition.
• Preparing / issuing the PO
• Sourcing the new Subcontractor in the list
• Monitor Subcontractors
• Evaluate subcontractor performance with user
• Ensure the contract terms and conditions entitle us to claim subcontractor when not performing as committed
• Negotiate prices and claims with Subcontractor
• Initiate sourcing plan and execution
• Performing other duties as directed by the Department Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineer any related field or higher
• Knowledge about legal wage rate, labor law and cost structure of services
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in steel fabrication business and or ship repair business and or manufacturing business or Oil & Gases business with an engineering background plus a few years’ experience in area of Engineering services, Labor supply or Lumpsum work.
• Computer Skill : MS.Office
• Strong interpersonal skills, Good negotiating skills, Good management and leadership skills
• Fluent in English both writing and verbal.
