Finance and Accounting Manager (F&A)
About this position
The Finance and Accounting Manager (F&A) will supervise accounting staff, manage financial operations, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure tasks are performed accurately and on time.
• Accounts Payable ensuring accuracy for AP subsystems data capturing and payment processing.
• Accounts Receivable follows up on collection and reminding to clients.
• Cash flow and foreign exchange management.
• Prepare forecasts cash flow and financial models based on business trends and analysis.
• Review fixed assets register systems updating and accuracy in depreciation policy.
• Ensuring general ledger updating with the proper accounting entries.
• Monitor and contact banks on utilize credit facilities (LC&BG) to support other Department.
• Ensuring all monthly reconciliation works are timely done by the responsible staff followed up and cleared timely.
• Dealing with external / internal auditors.
• Checking and reviewing all payments voucher for TT&LC&BG.
• Prepare monthly cash flow and follow up cash status expedite receivable collections.
• Running an efficient and accurate cash flow forecasting system.
• Review tax provisions and related disclosures in financial statements.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments.
• Monitor and contact with banks and financial institution to invest short-term surplus cash.
• Bank relationship.
• Monitor and contact banks to arrange appropriate FX risk through forward contract / options.
• Training and development of staff.
• Coordinating with other department on data, information and work that flow in and out of the accounts department.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Scheduling of accounting routines rotation of jobs, leave and other administrative matters.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading month-end closing processes in a corporate environment, with a demonstrably strong track record of accuracy and efficiency.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices, and holding a CPD license.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Prior experience with tax authorities and external auditors.
• Experience working in a multinational corporation.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
