Store Development (Land acquisition, Property Acquisition, Property Development, Business Development)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Think about everything from the same perspective as the management, and consider and formulate a store opening strategy for own area of responsibility
• On behalf of the company from a management perspective, successfully negotiate with LL and maximize sales and profits
• To accelerate the business development by liaising and negotiating with landlord and/or land owner to acquire the potential area and/space for opening new stores
• Think of ways to improve existing stores from the perspective of customers and staff, and put them into action. In addition, take immediate action to meet various requests from stores
• Addresses concerns and maintains consistent follow-up on any outstanding issues with team or leader
• Prepare site surveys to ensure proper work and schedule are being undertaken
• Collaborates with cross-department teams and management to gather input and develop new stores that take our business to the next level
• Assist with special projects that are related to store development
• Coordinate with a team of Store Development in quantity surveying duties and Store Design in store construction and handover construction
• Estimate project sales and costs and prepare specific document regarding new stores
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field
• Having 3-5 years experiences of professional experience in business development, new store opening
• Ability to effectively manage project schedules on time and on budget
• Experience in developing, leading and growing within multi-faceted organizational team
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and oral in Thai and English
• Ability to brief and manage 3rd party consultants & contractors.
• Fluent use of Microsoft Office
• Availability for travel to all province and other countries when required
• Be enthusiastic, open-minded with willingness to learn new things and changes
• Desire to work for a global customer centric, fast moving, and result-oriented company
• Deep understanding and support for UQ's business
