Assistant Logistics Manager
About this position
Responsibilities
• Design operation flow all warehouses (store and e-commerce) based on ordering data and monitoring their progression.
• Follow up and check delivery plan of each store and solve issue of non-delivery or late delivery items.
• Solve issue of data discrepancy between Inbound & Outbound by involving Factory, Warehouses & Stores.
• Review Logistics billing cost and invoice (cooperate with Warehouses & other Divisions).
• Visit Warehouses to review their operation performance and feedback for improvement points.
• Review current Logistics cost and plan for reduction by negotiate with LSP company/ Warehouses.
• Deal with Logistics issues and figure out route causes to provide countermeasure of each point.
• Stock-take (schedule plan, monitoring progression, adjust inventory data & provide countermeasure for inventory loss) by coordinate with Inventory Control Division and outsource company.
• Share information of Company Sales Forecast & Inbound Plan to LSP company & Warehouses for delivery preparation of each season.
• Prepare accurate Logistics budget by aligning with Company target (coordinate with Corporate planning Division and Merchandising Division).
• Review and update LSP contract and negotiate for optimum unit price.
• Improve internal communication gap among working team such as Stores, Store Operation, Global HQ (Japan) and other related divisions. To solve difficult problems and take actions for countermeasures providing.
• Acquire new knowledge and necessary business information through internal and external for improving personal skills (Self-learning).
• Monitor and manage the progress of warehouse operations to ensure that all processes being carried out as planned.
• Identify and implement process improvement to enhance warehouse operations productivity.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
• Having at least 1 - 3 years experience in dealing with logistic suppliers (Background in retail business would be a plus).
• Having strong knowledge in Thai Customs regulations, Logistics & Supply chain.
• Having good background of budget control or warehouse management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with business partner.
• Good command both Thai and English (Listening, Speaking, Writing & Reading).
• Good command of computer literacy especially Microsoft Office.
• Desire to work for a global customer centric, fast moving, and result-oriented company.
• Be enthusiastic, open-minded with willingness to learn new things and changes.
• Be flexibility and adaptation in dynamic working environment and fast-paced atmosphere.
• Availability to travel all over Thailand when required.
