About this position

The Junior Automation Maintenance Engineer will assist in maintenance work, design, and implementation of automation machines/systems under the guidance of senior engineers, while contributing to the efficiency and performance of automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in Maintenance work (Preventive, Corrective, Predictive), design, implementation of automation machine/systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Conducting tests on automated machine/systems to ensure they operate correctly and perform efficiently.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting machine/system errors and issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, operational manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborating with team members to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Staying updated with the latest automation technologies and methodologies to contribute effectively to the team’s efforts.
• Supporting the maintenance and upgrading of existing automation systems to improve their performance and longevity.
• Initiate and update PM activities, PM schedule.
• Performing routine maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems to ensure it operate correctly and meet safety standards.
• Assisting in installing and commissioning new automation systems, machines, and projects.
• Monitoring the performance of automated machines/systems and making adjustments as needed to optimize operations.
• Responding to machine breakdowns and system failures promptly, diagnosing issues, and implementing repairs.
• Updating, modifying software for automation machines/systems, including PLCs, robotics, and other control systems.
• Collaborating with production teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement automation solutions.
• Participating in training sessions to stay current with technology advancements and maintenance techniques.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Automation / Mechatronics / Control / Instrument).
• 1 – 2 year of working experience in maintenance of Automation systems/Machine maintenance.
• PLC – Intermediate.
• Machine parts mechanical skill - Intermediate.
• Computer language and Robotic programming - Beginning.
• Good command of both written and spoken in English.
• Good in presentation skill.
• Proficiencies in Microsoft Office program.
• Hand on experience in FMCGs manufacturing process and technology.
