About this position

Unilever Ice Cream is seeking an Ice Cream Assistant Procurement Manager for Thailand Packaging, responsible for managing the packaging portfolio and driving procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

This role manages the packaging portfolio for Thailand Ice Cream.
• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies for packaging materials.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure consistent supply and quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure packaging materials meet operational needs.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, new materials, and innovative packaging solutions.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on packing materials and logistics in the FMCG sector.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in procurement software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in procurement.
• Good command of Thai & English
