Senior Sales Staff
About this position
The Senior Sales Staff will be based at Rayong and responsible for comprehensive project management support to automotive OEM, encompassing four key stages as directed by the Sales Manager: Customer Project Management, Industrialization Management, Mass Production Management, and Spare Parts Management.
Responsibilities
• Manage and negotiate with OEM for commercial terms and conditions including Precious Group Metal (PGM) and ceramic substrates supply chain.
• Work as an interface to customers, make the good relationship with OEM, Canners and manufacturing members as well as customers visits and audits at the plant.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails.
• Manage the latest price for existing products, including APR, VA/VE. And negotiate the new price for new projects with OEM by corporation with global team.
• Quotation prices in line with GFM (Umicore system) including price strategy and logistic requirements and delivery agreement.
• Work with manager to lead customer negotiations on pricing and cost/margin to ensure company target are met.
• Make the long-term forecast (IBP) based on customer strategy & market situation (e.g. Electrification trend) corporate with line manager.
• Receive and analyze the customer forecasts and work closely with manufacturing departments to ensure delivery timely and effective production of the customer demands.
• Order downloading from customer portal systems and input internally purchase orders into SAP system.
• Able to use SAP system for customer data base, selling, invoicing, billing and Finnish goods stock management.
• Manage external warehouses, including the daily delivery as per customer requests and annual inventory check.
• Receive requirement and information from customer and coordinate with other departments to achieve target.
• Communicate with manufacturing side for the phase out and phase in of products to ensure that the finished goods inventory is optimized.
• Spare parts price management.
• Leadership role through the project management, process change request, including active participation in APQP.
• Manage customer complaint process with manufacturing departments and ensure timely responses to customers.
• Review the legal agreement of the canning industry and ensure that agreements are monitored and updated.
• Manage the payment status (overdue) from customers, and follow up to customers as needed.
Requirements
• Master's or bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred, or Science, Business or related field.
• Experience in automotive industries as sales & marketing is a plus.
• Solid communication and presentation skill with customers in Thai and English.
• Japanese communication skill is an advantage.
• Strong business background.
