About this position
Responsibilities
•Manage and maintain effective working relationships with both new and existing customers.
•Actively prospect for new business, with both existing and new customers.
•Utilize and work effectively with Salesforce system to plan and manage direct sales activities and priorities.
•Plan, prepare and participate in effective customer meetings and gain customer attention.
•Identify customer needs and requirements through active listening and questioning.
•Sell customer benefits for truck products and services.
•Provide financially sound proposals to meet customer requirements.
•Handle negotiation and closing techniques.
•Liaise with relevant parties to ensure maximum customer satisfaction is achieved and lead time is kept to a minimum.
•Ensure the vehicle handover process is planned efficiently.
•Manage cost and credit control to maximize the opportunity to grow profit.
•Create sales report by using the company tool and system.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or other related fields.
•At least 3 years of related experience in technical sales.
•Familiar to work with key accounts in assigned area will be advantage.
•Experienced in the automotive or heavy equipment industry is advantageous.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Self-motivated and adaptable to be able to work with minimal supervision.
•Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
•Good command in writing, reading, speaking and comprehension in English.
•Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
