About this position

Senior Plant Product Quality Engineer provides the necessary supports on the quality of finished goods to ensure that product delivered to customer will meet customer requirements and expectation including receiving and managing customer feedback handling that concerns to plant’s operations as well as internal campaign management required for the finished goods being inside the factory area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external organization on customer feedback relating to manufacturing site which includes KD factories’ quality concerns.
• Handle all customer feedback and coordinate within internal organization to analyze root cause and solving the issue with both containment and preventive actions.
• Coordinate internal/external campaign relating to the product.
• Represent manufacturing organization to join with Regional/Global Quality Action Group (QAG) on matters relating Product Quality.
• Summarize, report and lead the improvement of product quality KPI (Customer claim & Feedback)
• Interface with Product Auditor team to analyze and compare correlation between internal (Audit score) vs external (FF1), identify and close gaps.
• Monitor the product quality and take proper action according to quality procedure (DSO, Co-Pilot Management)
• Lead and manage corrective and preventive action concerning customer claim/feedback according to quality procedure.
• Coordinate for the quality issue with customer (KD factories & QA Team) and feedback to concern function.
• Coordinate with the quality supporter in main plant for the quality issue and requirement.
• Analysis the customer satisfaction survey report from both CBU & KD operations and find out the proper way to improve.
• Analysis the Product Audit score report from CBU operations and find out the proper way to improve.
• Represent product quality team support internal/external audit for ISO/TISI auditor.
• Support new project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work-experience in quality function of automotive field.
• Good human relationship with strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Techniques and Tools.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Good communication skill and strong leadership
• Able and flexible to travel upcountry and abroad.
• Good in MS offices (especially Words, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Leadership and management skills.
• Good understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and Built-in Quality requirements.
• Knowledge of both CBU and KD operations.
