Senior Material Quality Engineer
About this position
The Senior Material Quality Engineer is responsible for overseeing material quality claims, providing necessary inspection tools, and ensuring compliance with quality procedures while leading a team and managing KPIs.
Responsibilities
•Summarize and report the material quality claim result from production, KD plant and the customer complains.
•Source and provide the necessary measuring/inspection tools for material inspectors.
•Support production and concern function for the material quality information and requirement.
•Distribute and control the material quality document.
•Monitor the material quality and take proper action according to quality procedure.
•Manage and secure to meet targets of KPIs for Quality Department (FTT, DPV & Product Audit -Material).
•Issue IR(Information Report) which concerns material quality issue to supplier.
•Coordinate for the material quality issue with customers(Productions and CKD plants) and feedback to concern function.
•Coordinate with the quality supporter in main plant for the quality issue and requirement.
•Lead, monitor part sorting, reworks part in house and cost charge back to supplier accordance to work instruction.
•Issue & close CAR (Corrective Action Request) and PAR (Preventive Action Request) to concern function according to quality procedure.
•Provide leadership to and the development of the team under supervisor.
•Responsible for the development and implementation of section business plans.
•Planning and implementation programs for improve material quality.
•Work safety and minimize affect to environment according to work instruction.
•Perform according to the safety and environment rules and use safety equipment properly.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in industrial or a related field.
•In case of a lower level of education, need a minimum of 3 years work-experience on automotive field.
•Good knowledge in CMM, FARO arms machine is preferable.
•Good manage on multitasking which assign in urgent.
•Good command of spoken and written English.
•Good communication skill and strong leadership.
•Able and flexible to travel upcountry and abroad.
•Good in MS offices (especially Words, PowerPoint and Excel).
