About this position

Intro Engineer provides the necessary supports (knowledge, technique and tools) to operation. To ensure the products quality will meet the requirement with efficiency process, safety and environment concern. Also acting as leader to coach and supervise process engineers in new product launching verification on ergonomics, safety and assembly graph.

Responsibilities

• Acting as leader to coach and supervise process engineers in new product launching verification on ergonomics, safety and assembly graph.
• Prepare and provide necessary assembly instruction / work slip or training to process engineer.
• Study, Prepare and update the added & consume material list and coordinate with process engineer to secure the availability of added & consume material on the new product.
• Prepare and provide necessary assembly instruction / work slip or training to production and response to update Engineering documentation.
• Implement changes and connect the new BSLs in SPRINT to their area as a result of new products launched, engineering running changes project.
• Manage the changes to align with external functions such as UDTJV PD, TPE, Assembly Graph Leader (AGL) and Manufacturing Routing Leader (MRL) to get all necessary information to support new product launching.
• Participate and coordinate with community with new project team for engineering information for effectiveness on products launching.
• Lead on problem solving on both process and product issue on project phase.
• Support Process engineer to solve on the critical issues.
• Lead and support process engineer to do the process time study for new products.
• Prepare and provide on the standard time of the processes concerned with the new implementation project.
• Support process engineer to optimize process capability, continuous improvements in safety operation, Intro efficiency, quality, cost reduction.
• Cooperate with Process engineer on the lay-out and coordinate with TPE for the new project to align with plant lay-out and facility.
• Study and provide the new jigs, fixtures, tooling which are impacted from the new project launchs.
• Acting as leader to coach and supervise the process engineer in the new product launching, verification on the ergonomics, safety and assembly sequence.
• Support and involve with the implementation and maintain of Industrial management system (VPS, ISO, etc.) which belong to company policy.
• Perform according to safety and environment procedure.
• Support and work on business assignment from direct manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher of Engineering in Automotive, Industrial, Mechanical or related field.
• In case of a lower level of education, need a minimum of 10 years work-experience in Automotive industrial field.
• Minimum 5 years experienced in Intro engineer, production engineer, manufacturing engineer or related field.
• Intro knowledge of Industrial management system (ISO, Lean, etc.).
• Proficiency in computer office program (MS-Office, Outlook).
• Good command of read, written and spoken English.
