Manufacturing Engineer (1 year contract)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Analyze the performance of tightening tools (e.g., torque wrenches, pneumatic tools) to ensure accuracy and durability.
• Verify and maintain tightening tools to meet torque specifications and safety standards (TR).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tightening tools in the production line.
• Design and improve jig and fixture systems to enhance productivity and ensure consistent quality.
• Evaluate current jig/fixture setups and recommend modifications for efficiency and ergonomic improvements.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to implement fixture improvements seamlessly.
• Identify inefficiencies in the tightening and assembly processes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and consult production on document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for using tightening tools and jigs/fixtures.
• Conduct tests to ensure tools and fixtures meet required specifications and standards (TR).
• Ensure all processes align with safety regulations and quality assurance guidelines.
• Provide training to production operators on the proper use and maintenance of tightening tools and fixtures.
• Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting and process enhancements.
Requirements
• Experience in engineering field 0-3 Years (Fresh Graduate will be considered).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with tightening tools, jig/fixture design, and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of torque specifications and quality control principles.
• Familiarity with CAD software for jig and fixture design (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
