IT Supervisor (Based in Ubon Ratchathani)
About this position
The IT Supervisor will lead and manage a team of IT technicians, ensuring effective technical support, network management, and project execution while adhering to compliance and budgetary requirements.
Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of IT technicians and support staff.
• Schedule, assign tasks, and monitor the team’s performance to ensure timely issue resolution and support.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills.
• Oversee technical support services to ensure prompt assistance with hardware, software, network, and IT-related issues.
• Handle complex or escalated issues and provide advanced troubleshooting when necessary.
• Coordinate the maintenance, monitoring, and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and computer systems.
• Ensure that systems are updated, patched, and protected from cybersecurity threats.
• Develop and implement network policies, backup systems, and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage hardware and software inventory, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the procurement department for purchasing new IT equipment or software licenses.
• Coordinate with software vendors for support and service agreements.
• Assist in planning and executing IT projects, such as software implementation, system upgrades, or new network configurations.
• Track project progress and ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Ensure adherence to IT policies and standards, including data security and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system logs.
• Monitor and manage the IT department's budget, including cost control measures.
• Evaluate and recommend cost-effective solutions to improve IT operations.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory position.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
