Planning Supervisor
About this position
The Planning Supervisor is responsible for arranging the production plan, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication and coordination.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for arranging the production plan by expediting flow of materials as well as setting up priority of production so as to meet the schedule of delivery, assembly, and distribution of supplies, simultaneously, giving service to customer with regard to explanation of production plan and delivery timeline.
• Provide master production schedule and check raw material requirement to ensure the plan can be smoothly complete on time.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary, for instance, raw material, packaging and finished good finished good loading, to eventually achieve the production demands.
• Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, and customer information, so that status reports can be completed -Prepare weekly and monthly documentation related to production sequence and distribute production schedule to concerned people.
• Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, and engineering.
• Highlight potential problem in planning and foreseen problem concerned to upper level supervisor for discussion.
• Contact customers to lessen question and problem, explaining product specification, production plan, delivery time and etc., thus, increase customer satisfaction through good service and high attention -Monitor that all customer orders are fulfill, give support and coordinate with concerned parties such as production, purchasing, import-export and warehouse to ensure on-time production and delivery.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Experience 2 years in manufacturing industry, foods factory.
• Proficient in English language (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
• Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Knowledge in SAP system.
