About this position

The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager at Tyson Poultry Thailand plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and the environment while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position involves leadership and oversight in health, safety, and environmental management, working with a team to develop and implement strategies that prioritize workforce health and safety, enhance environmental sustainability, and reinforce responsible business conduct.

Responsibilities

• Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), plans, budgets, and projects related to occupational health, safety, and environmental conditions in alignment with company standards.
• Monitor and review company operations to ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding occupational health, safety, and the environment.
• Provide recommendations for maintaining compliance.
• Analyze work processes for potential risks and propose control measures to mitigate them.
• Develop training plans for occupational health, safety, and environmental awareness aligned with legal requirements.
• Create plans for environmental workplace assessments, ensuring adherence and corrective actions for non-compliance.
• Coordinate annual employee health check-ups, new employee health assessments based on risks, and follow-up on abnormal findings.
• Control and track accidents, injuries, work-related illnesses, severe incidents, and crisis behavior. Conduct investigations to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Compile operational safety data, accident statistics, and incident reports for management reporting.
• Monitor and assess the company's safety performance.
• Perform on-site checks and assessments at all TPT plant locations.
• Implement IBU safety programs and track results.
• Conduct PSIF (Potential Serious Injury or Fatality) assessments and follow all corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Department Manager to supervise a development system aligned with Company strategy for staff in your area.
• Develop safety activities to enhance safety awareness.
• Provide a targeted training program to improve work knowledge for accountable staff, enhancing their efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field with professional certification.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with direct experience in the food industry being advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of
