About this position
The Finance Business Partner - Consumer acts as a strategic financial advisor and partner to the Consumer division within the organization, bridging the gap between finance and operational teams to provide financial insights and guidance for business decisions.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Consumer division to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
• Provide insightful financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance reporting to support decision-making.
• Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to assess the health of the Consumer division.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Consumer division leaders to evaluate new business initiatives, investments, and pricing strategies.
• Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within the Consumer division.
• Implement controls and measures to mitigate financial risks and enhance governance.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Consumer division, including senior management, department heads, and operational teams.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
• Act as a liaison between the Finance department and the Consumer division, fostering collaboration and alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
• Communicate financial results, forecasts, and insights in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar role, preferably within a consumer-focused industry.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends to drive business decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights) is desirable.
