Triumph Motorcycles is a British company with over 110 years of history. Our motorcycles are designed and developed in the UK by a team of experienced and highly skilled Engineers. Our motorcycles have won many awards around the world for their design and performance and Triumph continually develops new motorcycles to compete in this exciting and fast moving industry. Established in Thailand since 2002, Triumph now runs three factories, under the supervision of a UK management team, on the Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate, Chonburi. These factories produce a wide range of high quality motorcycle components and assemble a range of high quality motorcycles.

About this position

The Quality Engineer position involves ensuring quality standards across supplier, in-house, and customer quality processes, with a focus on audits, investigations, and communication.

Responsibilities

Supplier Quality:
• New supplier audits and visits (TH & Overseas)
• Product development assistance
• ISIR processing and GI inspection standards setting
• Quality concern investigation and follow up

In-House Quality:
• New production process audit (ATD)
• Quality concern investigation and follow up
• Assist Quality and Production staffs to understand quality standards
• Assist with QC RFT monitoring and KPI reports as requested

Customer Quality:
• Quality concern investigation, follow up and produce closing reports
• Clearly communicate quality concerns to QC Manager / Section Manager and other affected staff
• Be open minded to identifying and implementing improvements in a practical way
• Clearly communicate with UK Quality & Design staff
• Create and maintain a positive environment of teamwork, trust and appreciation.
• Monitor and initiate action for cost saving.
• Follow company’s rules and procedures.
• Work safely at all times and maintain 5S requirements.
• Any other tasks at the discretion of QC Section Manager and Senior Quality Engineer

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Be able to read and understand GD&T from engineering drawing.
• Familiar with basic measuring equipment (e.g. Vernier calliper, Micrometre, Thread gauge).
• Good in problem solving skills.
• Good in English both writing and speaking
• Have experience in quality field, steel & aluminium fabrication process and work in automotive industry will be advantage.
