About this position

Trip.com Group is a leading global travel service provider seeking a Junior Legal Counsel for a 1-year contract position. The role involves providing legal support to both Thailand and overseas legal teams, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and conducting legal research.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to both the Thailand and overseas legal teams, including assisting with company secretary matters, licensing, regulatory reporting, daily operations, and contract drafting and reviews.
• Monitor and interpret changes in relevant laws and regulations, advising the business on necessary adjustments.
• Conduct research on Thailand and overseas laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide up-to-date legal guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in law or higher.
• Minimally 1 year of PQE as a practicing lawyer in a law firm and/or in-house corporate legal department, preferably with exposure to international assignments.
• Experience in negotiating and drafting a wide range of agreements across various business areas.
• A Thailand lawyer license is an advantage.
• Strong communication, organizational, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English for legal document review and consulting.
• Ability to communicate in English with foreign colleagues (TOEIC score 600+).
