About this position

The Senior Associate Operations Risk and Business Continuity Management Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining the Group Business Continuity framework, leading risk assessments, and ensuring effective business continuity plans.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain Group Business Continuity framework, ensuring that the framework is in line also with relevant regulatory requirements and/or best practices and standards.
• Lead the Business Impact Analysis process to identify critical functions, assess potential impacts of disruptions, and prioritize recovery efforts based on severity and time sensitivity.
• Deliver relevant training and awareness sessions to educate relevant stakeholders about Business Continuity framework, BIA processes, etc.
• Plan and execute business continuity drills to ensure that the plans are effective.
• Lead project risk assessments for new projects and partner with IT risk management team where relevant to ensure comprehensive risk assessment is conducted.
• Lead risk control assessment, and where relevant design and maintain risk control self assessment to ensure key controls are properly implemented.
• Ensure timely reporting of key risks and mitigation measures to the Risk Committee.
• Act as a primary subject matter expert on developing policies and guidelines, along with improvements, to ensure we constantly evolve on how we protect our businesses.

Requirements

• Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience in a risk management function or consultancy background. Experience in a technology, platformed based company or hands-on knowledge/process of accommodation, transportation, experience, and travel insurance would be an advantage.
• Project management skills will be preferred.
• Must have experience in policy and procedure making and review related to risk and non-risk management processes.
• Must have experience in Business Continuity Management.
• Able to think from a helicopter-view perspective, connecting the dots and giving meaningful feedback to the business.
• Positive attitude, flexible, proactive, self-motivated, and detail oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and ability to work individually in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.
• Good experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to build robust and broadly compatible solutions.
• Proficient in English and has excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• It would be advantageous to have experience in ISO 31000 and risk management certifications, including those relating to Business Continuity Management.
