About this position

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Marketing Strategist, Metasearch to support the growth and optimization of our metasearch channel. In this role, you will manage key aspects of channel operations, including partner relationships, performance optimization, and execution of bidding strategies. You will also have the opportunity to lead 1-2 key initiatives while supporting broader channel management efforts. This role is perfect for someone who has hands-on experience in growth marketing, product management, or eCommerce and enjoys working collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

Channel Execution & Optimization:
• Support the day-to-day management and execution of the metasearch channel, ensuring smooth operation and alignment with business objectives. Focus on optimizing performance through data-driven decisions, monitoring metrics, and adjusting strategies as needed.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:
• Regularly track and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., cost-per-click, conversion rates, ROI) to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare reports for stakeholders, summarizing key insights and actionable recommendations for channel optimization.

Bidding & Media Buying:
• Assist in the development and optimization of bidding strategies across metasearch platforms to maximize ROI. Monitor and adjust media buying tactics to ensure budget efficiency and performance goals are met.

Inventory & Sourcing Management:
• Help manage inventory and ad sourcing on the metasearch platforms, ensuring relevant and effective inventory is displayed. Work with the team to adjust ads and inventory flow in response to market changes.

Conversion Path Optimization:
• Collaborate with product, pricing, and supply teams to ensure seamless conversion paths within the metasearch ecosystem. Help optimize user experience, including landing pages, ad creatives, and calls-to-action, to drive higher conversions.

Market & Competitor Research:
• Stay updated on trends and innovations in the metasearch space. Conduct competitor analysis and recommend new opportunities or adjustments to tactics as needed to stay competitive.

Collaboration & Support:
• Support cross-functional teams (e.g., product, data, martech, and pricing) to align on goals and drive channel performance. Lead 1-2 initiatives independently while contributing to larger projects led by senior team members.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience in growth marketing, product management, or eCommerce roles, ideally in the tech or start-up sectors.
• Familiarity with the customer journey and hands-on experience with data and product analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics, or similar).
• Experience managing digital marketing channels, including optimization and reporting, with a focus on performance and ROI.
• Ability to manage and execute day-to-day channel tasks, including bidding, performance tracking, and reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage relationships with internal stakeholders.
