About this position
Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
• Draft and review contracts, such as agreements with clients, partners, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
• Provide expert legal consultation to clients on various legal matters.
• Liaise with government agencies, courts, and external consultants to manage and prevent legal cases.
• Review and update company legal policies and procedures to align with new regulations related to the business.
• Act as a consultant on legal issues in projects, including contract dispute negotiations.
• Advise management on legal risks in large-scale projects to prevent long-term legal issues.
• Manage legal cases from preliminary negotiations to court proceedings and serve as a representative in dispute resolution.
• Oversee and manage the company’s legal team, including lawyers and legal staff, ensuring their expertise and efficiency.
• Promote and train the legal team on relevant legal updates, enabling them to effectively support various company projects.
Requirements
• Experience in corporate law, commercial law, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of legal principles and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple legal cases and projects simultaneously.
• Proven track record of providing strategic legal guidance.
• Familiarity with the needs and business models of Chinese clients is a plus.
