Regulatory Engineer (Homologation)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Support and execute Regulatory and Certification among Toyota Group as regional
• Coordinate with affiliates in ASEAN region for Regulation & Certification of Automotive business
• Provide regulatory input/recommendation/clarification/interpretation to ensure the compliance with current and future regulatory affairs laws and regulations
• Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with local authorities where applicable and other local regulatory agencies, as required
• Ensure all changes and quality issues relevant to regulatory activities are well-managed in accordance with internal procedures
• Support all certification activities required to achieve vehicle type approval including coordination of vehicle testing, inspections, presentations to and negotiations with the relevant Government Agency
• Participate with technical service and design engineering team provide feedback and support based on certification requirements
• Build relationship with government and another car manufacturers to discuss & negotiation the concern regulations
• Develop regulatory strategies and negotiation/influence for the harmonization of International Vehicle Regulations, Standards, and associated processes
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Industrial and Environment Engineering or related field
• GPA not less than 2.50
• TOEIC score at least 600
• Experience in Automotive industry knowledge and understanding of vehicle homologation processes
• Knowledge and experience regarding Automotive certification testing
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Able to travel for overseas business trip
