About this position

The Automation Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to enhance efficiency in various processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Automated Solutions: Design, develop, and implement automated solutions for repetitive tasks and processes using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and implement automation solutions that meet business needs.
• Scripting and Coding: Write clean, maintainable code/scripts in languages such as PLC Programing, workflows, and tasks effectively.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automation solutions to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance.
• Documentation: Document automation processes, configurations, and workflows for knowledge sharing, future reference, and compliance purposes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest automation trends, technologies, and best practices. Continuously evaluate and improve existing automation processes for better efficiency and effectiveness.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for automation systems and processes to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.

Requirements

• Able to use AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Solid work 2D & 3D, PLC Programming
• GPA 2.75, TOEIC score 550 up
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechatronics/ Automation/ Robotics)
• Have experienced 1-2 years in related field would be an advantage.
• Able to work in weekend
