About this position

The Fleet Credit Management Manager (Underwriter) is responsible for analyzing credit risks, conducting financial assessments, and providing recommendations to the Corporate Credit Committee while ensuring compliance with credit policies.

Responsibilities

• Write-ups, analyze and review credit risks, financial part on credit application and provide risk concern and how to mitigate risks before emerging. Then, propose to the Corporate Credit Committee for approval and ensure to follow our credit policy and guidelines.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, financial ratios, source of repayment to identify ability to pay as well as give credit comments for proposing credit application.Better understanding and assessment of the customer’s business and industrial factors to match our financial products.
• Assess and recommend credit ratings for customers and potential defaulters, while continuously monitoring for early warning signs to propose necessary actions.
• Coordinate with sales, money market and related departments.
• Support the coaching of credit analysts for the credit team.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to the Sales team on credit-related issues.
• Able to support special assignment or ad hoc analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• Over 5 years of banking or related industries experience in underwriter, credit analyst or related field.
• Credit analytical, credit risk skills in corporate, commercial banking business.
• Must be able to exercise sound, analytical and logical judgement in decision making, be self-motivated and communicate effectively at different management levels.
• Multi-tasking with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to travel upcountry for business purposes.
