About this position

The Accounting Officer (AR/BOI Transaction) is responsible for overseeing the account receivable function, ensuring accurate processing of customer payments, and managing BOI-related transactions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the account receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments and related documentation
• Proceed with sales invoices and ensure proper documentation and support for revenue recognition.
• Handle the cost of services by processing purchase invoices and ensuring proper supporting documentation.
• Proceed with customer payments and issue receipts and tax invoices accordingly.
• Prepare and submit VAT sales reports and withholding tax receivable reports in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including Accounts Receivable and bank statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly and yearly financial statements to support timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Provide support during both external and internal audits, ensuring required documentation and processes are followed.
• Assist in managing and supporting BOI (Board of Investment) related transactions and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation regulations
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
• Proven experience in BOI (Board of Investment) transactions is required.
• Proficient in English communication (TOEIC score of 500 or higher preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365).
• Must be available to work at the office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a positive attitude.
