Purchasing Manager (Manufacturing Plant)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Manage and work closely with the purchasing operation team to ensure smooth support to all relevant parties.
• Oversee the local purchasing and oversea purchasing activities of direct materials, resin, with ensuring quality, cost and on time delivery.
• Oversee process import and materials and machine and finished packaging.
• Selects suppliers with meet the requirement of material planning and customer services.
• Established the selected vendor information in SAP system with approved by authorized person.
• Releases purchase order to supplier with complete necessary information, material, quantity, price and required date.
• Follows the delivery dates and support the logistics process with supplier.
• Plans and maintains Supplier Evaluation every years.
• Monitors stock to ensure all the NC materials have been managed on timeline.
• Handles NC and CAR report according to ISO system.
• Supports Supervisor as necessary requested and contribute to teamwork.
Requirements
• Full working rights for Thailand
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any related field
• Over 10 years of procurement experience or Supply chain from leading FMCG companies
• Good knowledge of strategic sourcing processes and move category related procurement best practices,
• A good understanding of logistics management and new logistics technology, including holistic supply chain fundamental concepts
• Strong analytical, influencing and negotiation skills
• Sound knowledge of SAP and excellence in using Excel
• Good command of English is required
• Working 5 day at “Sriracha Industrial Park” Chonburi.
