Senior officer to Supervisor – Finance
About this position
Be responsible for daily financial operation including cash receipt and reconciliation, financial reporting, and collaboration for process improvements.
Responsibilities
• Be responsible for daily financial operation i.e. Cash Receipt of Group Business and Contacting with AMCs for Unit Trading and prepare relevant reports relating to Cash Payment and Cash Receipt of Insurance Business.
• Be responsible to perform daily reconciliations of bank statements in order to ensure/ prevent the fictitious and fraudulent transaction and ensure the reconciling item (or unknown deposit) were communicated timely to relevant department.
• Be responsible for financial reporting i.e. Bank Fee Report and other (if any)
• Collaborate with relevant teams in supporting process improvements and initiatives (if any)
• Handle day-to-day finance operation such as cash receipt, ILP subscription and redemption order to AMCs
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure handling communication of the reconciling items (and unknown deposit) in a timely manner
• Prepare the assigned finance reports i.e. Bank Service Fee and others
• Ad hoc as requested e.g. Collaborating for process improvement
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and related field
• 2-5 years experience in Finance or Accounting (preferably within the insurance or financial services industry).
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly excel
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
