Officer/Supervisor – Product Development
About this position
Responsible for product development including profit testing and UAT process, preparing experience analysis and management reports, and handling actuarial projects assigned by supervisor.
Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities / ACCOUNTABILITIES :-
Product Development
• Profit testing which can be ensured that the results are accurate and trustworthy
• Providing in-depth analysis of profit results with rationale/ suggestions / comments to facilitate the next steps reviewer to understand the financial / operational key risks
• Develop premium rate that can ensure the company’s profitability & marketability
• Submit the report to get approval from TMA before launching date
• Making or supporting others on sale materials e.g. calculation files and so on
Reinsurance Administration
• Prepare reinsurance statements of account to the reinsurers and internal parties on regular basis (by quarterly, monthly etc.) which is including actual statement and estimation.
• Reinsurance analysis report (if any)
• Involving reinsurance project, assisting to UAT and ensure the accuracy of the results
• Be able to handle any system issues and cooperate with IT and reinsurers to provide the best solutions, minimize the risk incurrences.
Actuarial Projects assigned by supervisor, Analysis & OIC’s Reports
• Responsible for analysis of any assignments, not limited to regular report but also extended to ad-hoc by special requests.
• Be able to prepare experience analysis to support the profit testing such as lapse assumption, claim ratio or loss ratio etc.
• Prepare statistic reports required by OIC / TMA (regional office) for compliance.
Actuarial Projects assigned:
• Responsible for actuarial projects i.e. learning new jobs/knowledge to improve themselves, finding new method to improve department’s work flow.
