Starting with only 10 people doing chrome plating in 1973,T.Krungthai is now one of the innovative leaders in plastic injection molding. With the fast growth of the plastic industry in Thailand, we built and moved into a bigger factory site in Bangplee on a 9,200 sqm. working area. Since 1990, we have grown and progressed rapidly. We now have more than 850 workers, 80 injection machines, quality control, painting, finishing and assembly sections. Our impressive growth is attributable to customers’ confidence and satisfaction in our quality production and all around expertise in plastic molding.

About this position

The Project & Process Engineer is responsible for managing project tasks and timelines while also developing and improving processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage project tasks, timelines, and milestones.
• Oversee the procurement of necessary materials, equipment, and services.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to established schedules and budgets.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop new processes, assess and document new and existing processes. Implement and evaluate changes to existing processes designed to improve product quality, productivity and overall equipment efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians, operators and other molding personnel.
• Develop and maintain process documentation ensuring that processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for all employees. Provide technical support/solutions to manufacturing processes, improve yield and throughput, drive cost reduction activities and improve on part quality.
• Interact with customers to resolve issues and provide new project updates.
• Implement technical solutions including statistical methodology to meet customer cost, quality, and delivery expectations.
• Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental, and ergonomics efforts.
• Control/maintain 5S and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics/Production related.
• Solid background on plastic injection molding and processes at least 3 yrs.
• New project management, APQP Process expired worked as Tier 1 supplier, Project Feasibility Analysis, Risk Management, QMS (IATF 16949, VDA6.3), Lean manufacturing, etc.
• Strong and systematic thinking, can work with less supervision, Good command in English.
