About this position

The Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, packaging, and products through inspection and reporting, as well as maintaining calibration and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Collect the samples, check, and record the quality inspection results of raw materials, packaging, products according to the quality plan set by the company.
• Control and report the status of the product from during production to the product before delivery to the customers.
• Provide Certificate of Quality of products as requested.
• Calibrate instruments, tools, and equipment used in quality control work as per specified periods.
• Provide technical information to develop and improve the calibration process to be more efficient.
• Maintain and keep accurate quality and calibration records, up to date and easy to find.
• Act as technical service office for troubleshooting on product usage for the customers including analyzing causes and factors that affect product quality.
• Take care and keep instruments, tools, and equipment ready for use as well as always have a tidy workplace.
• Report and assess risks on environmental and safety impacts, including proposing guidelines for preventing risks according to the work responsible.
• Report work results, problems, obstacles, and suggestions for responsible work.
• Perform other tasks and duties as supervisor assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in chemical engineering or material science or other major relevant to job position.
• High Vocational Certificate in a major relevant to a job position.
• 1-5 years experience in Quality Control.
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Able to work at Suratthani Plant.
