About this position
Responsibilities
• HR Management Policy and Procedure.
• Manage the effective delivery of the day-to-day HR operations to meet the needs of the organization.
• Execute and maintain HR operations plan to support the achievement of the PMT The Hour Glass’s objectives.
• Develop and review, as well as communicate HR policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular reviews of HR policies and procedures to drive efficiencies and increase service delivery.
• Develop, manage, and drive HR initiatives and projects.
• Elevate emerging trends with regards to issues that impact team member satisfaction and retention, such as compensation, management style and organizational culture.
• HR Advisory and Resource Support.
• Provide advisory support to management on HR management policies, practices, and employment related issues.
• Serve as an internal resource for managers and supervisors on operational HR management and people issues such as career development, succession management, corrective action, performance management, policy and procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide advice and support to management and team member on issues of concerns relating to the individual.
• Recruitment & Selection.
• Lead and implement best practice of recruiting strategies to attract team member with the requisite skills, competencies, educational requirements and experience.
• Prepare job descriptions for new positions and review existing job descriptions for accuracy as required.
• Screen employment applications against established criteria to identify qualified applicants, as well as participate in interview process.
• Compute starting salaries, extend verbal job offers, communicate terms and conditions of employment, schedule and meet candidates for initial visits to the organization and negotiate starting salaries.
• Ensure that team members are effectively integrated by developing and implementing induction and integration programs.
• Compensation & Benefits.
• Conduct job evaluation to analyze external and internal salary equity.
• Review current grade and salary structure to establish market competitiveness.
• Perform periodical compensation and benefits analysis.
• Participate in salary surveys.
• Recommend and implement enhanced remuneration and benefit policies and procedures.
• Performance Management.
• Review, standardize and document current performance management process.
Requirements
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
• Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
• Strong ethics and reliability.
