Senior Quality Engineer (ประจำจังหวัดปราจีนบุรี)
About this position
The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring quality standards are met and maintained within the organization, providing coaching to subordinates, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance customer experience and product quality.
Responsibilities
• Develop written procedures and provide coaching to the subordinates such as Quality Technicians and Inspectors.
• Provide the best customer experience to ensure meeting the quality requirements and follow up the customer feedback.
• Identify the sources of products, materials defect and work procedures, and propose effective solutions and programs.
• Collaborate with different stakeholders to capture requirements and provide technical supports.
• Develop methods and arrange tooling and equipment for inspection team.
• Evaluate and optimize the process of quality assurance activities.
• Conduct process and system audit to ensure the manufacturing system stay in sync with quality certification system requirements.
• Maintain and update the quality system to comply with international standard and company requirements.
• Control the costs of quality within the budget.
Requirements
• A degree in Engineering or science. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience working in an industrial company preferred.
• Demonstrate a strong mastery of process quality control, SPC, DOE, ISO/TS 16949:2002, APQP and another statistically technique.
• At least 8 or more years related working experience with 2-3 years people management experience.
• Experience in air/conditioning industry or business in manufacturing environment.
• A track record of positive results and an ability to manage complex technical problems and multiple priorities.
• Experience and solid understanding of working in a diverse and global organization. Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure with a short deadline.
• Analytical, excellent communication skills, (verbal and written) and relate with all levels of “customers” (internal and external) and be a team player.
• Consistently demonstrate a “Roll up your sleeves” style.
• Proficient and savvy in strong background and understanding of SPC (Statistics Process Control) and the use of other statistical methods for setting specifications.
• Above-average Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
• Self-directed and highly motivated.
