Technical Consultant Manager (Metro) / Project Sales
About this position
The Technical Consultant Manager (Metro) / Project Sales is responsible for managing project sales, building customer relationships, and ensuring the effective implementation of sales strategies to enhance the company's market presence.
Responsibilities
• Identify and understand customers, including Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and associated Dealers supplying projects or contractor.
• Establish and continuously update the list of key customers.
• Identify customer business drivers and ensure they align with the company’s vision and strategies.
• Standardize joint working, value propositions, and customer business plans for project sales management to enhance the company’s expertise and promote its systems and solutions.
• Monitor the effective implementation of action plans and evaluate tailor-made proposals and customer activities.
• Develop timely and appropriate responses to counter the competition.
• Collaborate with other departments, business partners, and stakeholders to develop customized services that support the business development of key customers.
• Assess customer satisfaction and loyalty on a quarterly basis and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Achieve targets for project specification rates and sales performance (sales volume, value, share, and contribution) for all company products and services/systems/solutions.
• Develop and execute strategies and action plans to raise the profile and awareness of SGI and its products and systems among key developers, and monitor implementation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key developers, main contractors, and sub-contractors to promote SGI products and systems, ensuring that the benefits of unique solutions are clearly understood.
• Maintain up-to-date tracking of customer/project performance, conduct business reviews, and perform sales analysis for both direct customers and traders. Create proactive action plans based on this data.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain key client relationships.
• Good problem-solving skills to effectively address and resolve issues.
• Collaborative team player with experience in working with internal teams and external parties to achieve objectives.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Moderate proficiency in English.
• 2-5 years of experience in Project Sales, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience in project management and coordinating between teams to meet project goals.
