The Siam Gypsum Industry (SGI) or “Elephant Gypsum Board” was established in July 1982 to manufacture and supply gypsum wall and ceiling solutions. It categorizes Elephant Gypsum Board products into 6 categories: gypsum boards, gypsum tiles, metal profiles, gypsum compounds, gypsum partition systems, and accessories for walls and ceilings. In 2021, Elephant Gypsum Board changed its main shareholders and entered into a joint venture with Knauf, the world's leading building materials company, and Siam Cement Group (SCG), the leading innovative construction materials and chemicals company in Thailand. Elephant Gypsum Board currently operates three factories and has a production capacity of more than 100 million square meters of gypsum boards per year, allowing it to meet the needs of customers throughout the country, including customers in more than 28 countries. The factory is located in SIL Industrial Estate, which has two factories in Saraburi province and one in Southern Industrial Estate Chalung in Songkhla, with the head office in Bangkok. About this position

The Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales position involves managing client accounts, achieving sales targets, and providing market insights to enhance sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing client account both domestics and export channel.
• Achieve the agreed sales volume, revenue, share and contribution target for industrial plasters.
• Independently research, fully understand market situation, sales performance and plan the corrective actions.
• Responsible for an up-to-date area analysis.
• Responsible for on time submission of monthly market report which includes stock share and price monitoring.
• Ensure that customer performance tracking and customer business review are up-to-date with analysis, insight and proactive action plan.
• To timely provide feedback and insight from the market place to trade marketing and the business.
• To actively participate to the monthly Team Solutions Meeting – share market information, customer feedback and recommended activity plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Ceramic Science or related fields.
• Good command in English both spoken and written.
• Computer literate.
• Marketing skills, negotiation skills, customer-oriented and service mind.
• Energetic, have initiative and ambitious.
• Good interpersonal skill and team player.
• Able to travel overseas independently.
• Able to work independently with least supervision.
• Ability to drive a car with driving license is preferred.
• At least 3 years' experience in Technical Sales especially Raw Material Industry.
• Experience in Manufacturing environment will be advantage.
• Experience in the Ceramic industries, Sanitaryware, or Tableware business will be advantage.
