Category Manager Production Materials & Services (Procurement)
About this position
Co-own the Production Materials & Services Category strategy, develop and execute the Production Materials & Services category strategy and/or execute the sourcing goods for the assigned category in line with the OpCo strategy, in order to optimise business value.
Responsibilities
• Participate in the development of the Production Materials & Services category strategy in line with the business strategy
• Evaluate and select existing and new suppliers and execute the sourcing of goods for the assigned category, in line with the Production Materials & Services category strategy
• Negotiate with suppliers regarding price, quality and delivery conditions for the assigned category, and draft (proposals for) contracts in line with global/local standards and procurement guidelines
• Build and maintain a network of suppliers and other relevant (internal and external) stakeholders
• Signal and analyse relevant market development regarding customers/consumers, suppliers, price and cost developments
• Prepare, explain and follow up on management reports, in line with global reporting standards and local requirements
• Define, manage, and/or participate in procurement/facilities/multidisciplinary projects

Requirements
• Min. University degree (SI ideally in disciplines related to business, finance, commercial, economics or other technical-related courses.
• 3-5 years (managerial) experience required in Procurement or Finance roles / Production Materials & Services or Business Services Category ideally in FMCG/CPG industries
• Good interpersonal / communication / influencing and negotiation skills
• People-management experience to successfully guide and manage small teams
• Able to communicate effectively in English (written and oral) and local Bahasa
