Procurement Manager
About this position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities of our organization, ensuring that we acquire high-quality goods and services at the best possible prices while adhering to company policies and procedures. The Procurement Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
•Develop and implement procurement strategies in alignment with company objectives and budgetary constraints.
•Identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
•Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new products/services.
•Evaluate supplier performance and compliance with contract terms, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support throughout the procurement process.
•Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
•Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
•Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure consistency, transparency, and accountability.
•Analyze procurement data and generate reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
•Lead, mentor, and support the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
•Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
•Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
•Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite, SAP, ERP.
•Solid understanding of procurement best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
•Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
•Can work at the plant in Factory Omyai Nakornprathom (Can work 6 days/week).
