The Head of Recycling Plant Operations is responsible for overseeing the production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulations while managing team development and resources effectively.
Responsibilities
• Plan production based on market demand and available resources to ensure the plant meets its production targets.
• Collaborate with management to establish and review policies for plant management, ensuring alignment with overall company policies.
• Manage team development to ensure all members work efficiently and effectively together.
• Appropriately allocate resources such as raw materials, labor, and machinery to maximize production efficiency.
• Monitor and control the quality of produced goods to ensure they meet established standards.
• Develop and improve production processes, methods, and machinery using new technologies to enhance production efficiency.
• Manage and resolve production issues, including analyzing causes to control and improve production processes.
• Oversee the operation of the recycling plant to enhance occupational health and safety conditions.
• Control and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure they align with organizational requirements.
• Ensure that the recycling plant complies with environmental regulations and standards, managing waste and emissions appropriately.
• Oversee the supply chain for raw materials and distribution of finished products, optimizing logistics and inventory management.
• Manage the maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure continuous and efficient production.
• Lead R&D initiatives to innovate and improve recycling technologies and processes.
• Manage the plant's budget, cost control, and financial planning to ensure economic efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain and develop relationships with customers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with the products.
Requirements
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a plastic packaging production role, with preference given to those with experience in plastic recycling processes.
• Proficiency in ERP, SAP, and data analysis tools.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and ability to work under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate, take calculated risks, and drive business growth, with a proven track record of achievements that have positively impacted the bottom line.
