VP of Operation (Thairath Logistic)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Plan and manage strategies for all transportation and distribution operations.
• Oversee P&L (budget), control expenses, and optimise costs to stay within the set budget.
• Lead off-site operations, including distribution points, rest stops, and driver management.
• Motivate and guide the team, offer day-to-day problem-solving and strategic advice.
• Create short and long-term plans, address issues with corrective and preventive actions to achieve operational excellence.
• Act as the key person for managing new project operations.
• Set and maintain SLAs with clients, ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Develop solutions to mitigate risks that may arise during operations, ensure minimal impact on the company.
• Propose and implement the appropriate operational systems (TMS, GPS, WMS) and relevant insurance solutions.
• Design workflows, action plans, and work instructions (WI) to meet service quality goals.
• Streamline processes to increase operational efficiency.
• Train and coach team members to be leaders, encouraging ownership and responsibility.
• Prepare and present operational updates and reports to the management.
• Establish rules, regulations, and procedures that align with logistics standards, aiming for certifications such as Q Mark, ISO, etc.
• Ensure partner vehicles meet service standards as set by the company.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher of Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or field related to Engineering.
• At least 10 years’ experience in transportation management is preferable.
• Excellence analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and teamwork management.
• Good planning ahead and deal with unexpected change.
• Able to coordinate well with transportation and business development team.
• Experience from a logistics service background will be an advantage.
• Good command of English and fluent in Thai.
