About this position

Teach for Thailand is seeking a talented and passionate UX/UI Designer to join the Founding Team of Project Polaris, a social venture aimed at improving education quality and empowering teachers through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Play a critical role in crafting intuitive interfaces and impactful experiences that empower teachers and inspire students nationwide.
• Lead the design vision, experiment with new ideas, and pioneer innovative approaches to deliver scalable solutions for education.
• Collaborate closely with the Founding Product Manager and other key team members to shape the vision and development of the product.
• Design intuitive interfaces that achieve a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 80+ and ensure 90%+ of users can complete core tasks efficiently and independently.
• Continuously improve the user experience through feedback loops and usability testing, refining design solutions to enhance engagement and retention among educators.
• Create on-brand, visually engaging designs that are accessible to educators of varying proficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions.
• Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in the field.
