Commercial Finance Manager
About this position
The Commercial Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial monitoring, process improvement, cost management, strategic partnership, management reporting, forecasting, feasibility studies, budgeting, business meetings, external liaison, and ad-hoc assignments.
Responsibilities
• Monitor and control all elements of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow to align with the Annual Budget.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Shared Service team for finance and accounting transactions, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Co-work with the Accounting Shared Service team to identify opportunities for finance and accounting process improvement.
• Ensure efficient and effective financial processes.
• Co-control all costs and expenditures across the organization, collaborating with teams such as Operations and Costing to drive cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.
• Become a strategic partner with business heads and key departments (Commercial, Marketing, Operations) to drive and achieve company success.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports focusing on financial results analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting with a deep understanding of business insights.
• Run monthly, quarterly, and full year forecast financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Capex tracking.
• Provide feasibility studies for each business unit project with ROI analysis and other analytic dimensions.
• Own the process and preparation of the Annual Budget and short-term and long-term strategy plans.
• Conduct monthly business meetings with business unit teams.
• Support the management team in preparing high-quality analytics and presentations for board meetings, monthly business reviews, and quarterly strategic reviews.
• Work closely and liaise with internal and external auditors, consultants, banks, and other relevant parties for all finance and accounting policies and compliance with regulations.
• Perform all ad-hoc assignments with a focus on delivering quality insights from a finance and business perspective.
Requirements
• Master of Business Administration or Accounting/Finance with experience in commercial, trading, or manufacturing background.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, feasibility study, and commercial finance.
• Knowledge of commercial business, costing analysis, and consolidated financial statements.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills, well-organized, logical mindset, and leadership qualities.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Experience in SAP (Module CO-PA and CO-PC) and Power BI is a plus.
• Strong experience in using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in English communication.
