About this position

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing comprehensive, scalable, and integrated platforms and solutions that address complex IAM (Identity and Access Management) business challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create technical solutions that align with the organization’s goals and technology standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the organization's IAM platform architecture and solution design (Entra is the main platform), ensuring support for current and future business needs. Define platform standards, best practices, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Create detailed solution designs, considering architecture principles, scalability, security, and performance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools that enhance solution effectiveness.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure that technical designs align with established architecture standards.
• Ensure that platforms and solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems and applications.
• Verify the compatibility of proposed solutions with hardware, software, and network environments.
• Incorporate security best practices into platforms and other solution designs (SSO with Entra, MFA, PIM, PAM, RBAC…).
• Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.
• Document technical designs, architecture decisions, and implementation guidelines.
• Communicate solution designs effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define testing strategies and validate solution functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise during implementation.
• Help define the technical direction for the product/group and coordinate across product teams to ensure that every team has defined architecture patterns.
• Transforms requirements into specific solution architecture design documents.
• Governs the technical design against approved architectural standards and makes final decisions on any technology changes or exceptions to architectural standards.
• Understanding business processes and requirements, ensuring the platform aligns with business goals, and integrating various business functions into a cohesive system.
• Ensures that the platform is scalable, reliable, and adaptable to changing business needs, while maintaining data integrity and security.

Requirements

• Proven experience in solution architecture, particularly in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Strong understanding of architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with IAM technologies and platforms, especially Entra.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in leading technical teams and projects.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and industry trends.
