Responsibilities
• Contribute to the future direction of our innovation and digital strategy by crafting software applications that tackle complex data-related challenges with elegance and efficiency
• Drive automation and intelligent systems with innovative data models, machine learning and optimized algorithms
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and address their needs with bespoke solutions
• Conceive groundbreaking project ideas, draft compelling proposals, and pitch them with passion
• Lead projects ensuring optimal use of time, budget, and resources for maximum impact
• Design and implement scalable and secure software architectures
• Develop resilient programming code that adheres to best practices and ensures robustness in various operating conditions
• Deploy and maintain software systems with a focus on reliability
• Document software applications to ensure clarity and maintainability
Requirements
• A minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience
• Demonstrated expertise with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React, or Next.js
• Experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages, including Python, Java or C++
• Strong understanding of computing architectures, including parallel computing and memory-efficient applications
• Deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and their applications in solving complex problems
• Proficiency in designing database architectures and querying databases using SQL
• Experience with operations research, optimization techniques, and simulations
• Advanced mathematical skills for solving complex computing problems, including expertise in areas such as linear algebra, geometry, and calculus, relevant to fields like computer vision, 3D graphics, and robotics
• Advanced statistical skills, including proficiency in probabilistic models, metaheuristic algorithms, and data-driven approaches for solving complex, uncertain problems
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
