Senior In-house Lawyer (Contract Management)
About this position
Key accountability of the role focusing on commercial contracts and legal advisory to the business, strength legal compliance for the organization including but not limited to.
Responsibilities
• Draft and/or review contracts both trade and non-trade to ensure best interest of the company and minimize risks.
• Strength legal compliance for the organization, draft and/or review policies, arrange training to promote for relevant business units.
• Provide legal advice to all business functions (e.g., personal data and privacy law, competition law, criminal law, labor law, and intellectual property law, etc).
• Perform responsibilities as Data Protection Officer (if assigned)
• Attend and participate in the negotiation and discussion with other business functions or third parties helping and resolving problems.
• Provide expert and strategic legal advice to managements.
• Work as a team with internal and/or external legal lawyers to achieve business results.
• Perform other roles related to legal areas as assigned by management.
Requirements
• Master's degree in Law (Major in Business Law, Commercial Law or International Trade Law are preferred) or Bachelor's degree in Law with high experience in the field is also acceptable.
• Experience of 8 years minimum as legal adviser (Associate, Senior Associate) in international reputable law firm or senior in-house lawyer in well-known company or multinational organization.
• Strong knowledge in Commercial Contract (including IP and startup investment related contracts), Corporate compliance, legal research, litigations, debt collection process.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
