About this position

The RD Lab (Chemical) Section Manager is responsible for improving the production process of crude tuna oil, coordinating the import and export of necessary materials, conducting research, and developing products.

Responsibilities

• Improve the production process of crude tuna oil to enhance product quality, reduce costs, or generate revenue
• Coordinate the import and purchase of necessary materials for research, ensuring timely delivery
• Coordinate the export of samples, prepare export documents, and monitor the shipping process
• Communicate with customers to understand research objectives
• Study scientific information locally and internationally for research purposes
• Plan research activities to ensure timely completion
• Conduct research and testing, provide appropriate recommendations to customers for product development
• Prepare and review research results to ensure accuracy and clarity
• Participate in meetings with customers and relevant departments to improve and develop products
• Prepare and send product samples for external laboratory analysis
• Prepare documents and participate in external evaluations such as quality system audits
• Check chemical storage records and laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and availability of necessary resources

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related scientific field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in research and product development (experience in oil refinery is a plus)
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment in chemical laboratories
• Proficiency in English
• Leadership skills
