About this position

The Global Procurement, Process Excellence Manager at Thai Union will play a crucial role in advancing the company’s growth and supporting the Strategy 2030 objectives. This role is integral to our business transformation initiatives, with a focus on enhancing procurement processes, standardizing procedures across global operations, and cultivating a culture of efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Process Assessment and Optimization: Conduct thorough evaluations of current procurement processes to identify areas for enhancement, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks. Formulate and implement strategies aimed at optimizing processes, streamlining workflows, and eliminating waste.
• Standardization and Governance: Oversee the development and implementation of global procurement policies, processes, and governance frameworks. Ensure uniformity, compliance, and adherence to industry standards across all global operations.
• Change Management: Lead and drive change management initiatives to promote the adoption of new processes and workflows. Provide support and guidance to stakeholders to facilitate smooth transitions and ensure the sustainability of improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote and instill a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function. Identify and seize opportunities for process enhancements and digital transformation.
• Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate with Global Functions and Business Units to align and achieve process improvement objectives. Ensure that process improvements align with overall business goals and contribute to margin protection and growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) are advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement process improvement with a proven record of successfully optimizing and standardizing processes on a global scale.
• Expertise in change management with a capacity to drive process adoption and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and improve complex processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and lead digital transformation initiatives.
