About this position

The Plant SHE Lead in Songkhla is responsible for implementing and managing safety, health, and environmental strategies across the region, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Implement a SHE strategy across the region and measure, report and achieve key metric goals.
• Develop specific environmental, health and safety objectives and create action plans to meet those objectives.
• Maintain, review and report EHS performance, identifying opportunities for improvement along with implementing preventative and corrective actions as required.
• Work with factories, offices, farms, and hatcheries to ensure all key SHE operational controls are in place and that SHE action items are resolved on a timely basis.
• Create a proactive approach to SHE excellence through cross functional cooperation, communication and training.
• Integrate and partner with business leaders to promote a proactive safety culture focused on incident prevention and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee internal SHE audit actions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage implementation of site specific SHE programs to ensure regulatory and Thai Union standards are effectively integrated into site specific procedures.
• Ensure appropriate countermeasures are properly identified to prevent recurrence utilizing a robust incident investigation process including 5-Why root cause analysis.
• Ensure timely coordination of all regulatory or Company required data collection, implementation and training.
• Develop and manage Regional SHE budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree university with a major in occupational safety, environmental engineering/science or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in SHE related fields.
• SHE related management system, e.g. ISO14001, ISO50001, OHSAS18801/ISO45001, carbon footprint.
• Proven experience managing a team, creating and measuring goals in multiple locations.
• Must possess a theoretical and practical knowledge of SHE regulatory standards in Thailand.
• Be able to travelling in upcountry or aboard.
